With the installation of the 100th adapter system at Modexpress, DFT has reached an important milestone. In doing so, we benefit from our expertise in reliable and precise sorting and sequencing systems.
Currently, more than 15 million adapters are in operation in our client systems, sorting and sequencing over 30 million products per day worldwide. With the EcoPocket® and AutoPocket® pouch sorter systems as extensions of the adapter system, new options have emerged for sorting a significantly broader product range.
Today’s systems incorporate 20 years of experience and expertise in hanging conveyor technology. We draw on this experience as we expand our portfolio and are now developing new modular sorters for flat goods.
Our sorter portfolio includes the Push Tray Sorter vertical, Split Tray Sorter, the Cross Belt Sorter, as well as the EcoPocket® and AutoPocket® pouch sorter systems. These solutions enable efficient sorting of both hanging and flat goods and are designed for a wide range of industries, including fashion, retail, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and CEP service providers.
AutoPocket® offers a flexible modular system for advanced applications in fulfillment centers and supports processes from inbound to outbound. The ability to open pockets while in motion and release items enables additional automation in loading and packing processes. This way, AutoPocket® creates new efficiency potential in intralogistics.
EcoPocket® sequences large order volumes for e‑commerce and store replenishment and can be operated for hanging goods, flat goods, or as a hybrid system together with EcoFlow®. Dynamic buffers consolidate order components before sequencing and enable the integration of returns and fast‑moving items. The system delivers items to the packing stations in the correct order and with a high throughput.
The vertical Push Tray Sorter sorts items of different weights and shapes in a single step and, thanks to its gentle discharge mechanism, enables precise mixed sorting of light, heavy, and flexible items with extremely high accuracy. This makes the system ideal for high‑performance sorting processes in limited space.
The carriage, based on proven components, enables item transport through curves on both sides as well as over incline and decline sections. With high performance, a wide variety of parcels of different product sizes can be sorted in the shortest possible time. As a flexible, three‑dimensional sorting system, the Cross Belt Sorter offers high stability and precise results in single‑item sorting or outbound goods sorting.
The Split Tray Sorter quickly and accurately sorts flat items such as clothing, books, or pharmaceutical products. The combination of energy efficiency and low maintenance requirements ensures low operating costs and high cost‑effectiveness, even with a low initial investment.
redPILOT® optimizes the use of resources to ensure that logistics systems operate as efficiently as possible during every hour of operation. The software continuously adjusts staffing and machine control to the current conditions in the facility, ensuring stable processes and cost‑efficient system utilization.
