Tempe's high performance requirements are met by two intelligently controlled AutoPocket sorters. The software supports smart sorting and optimizes the flow of items and high sorting requirements. This increases overall warehouse performance.

The scalability of the AutoPocket modules also puts the Inditex in an ideal position for future growth. Two sorters currently achieve a combined output of 12,000 items per hour. This means that Tempe supplies around 4,800 stores per day. Each additional sorter would increase the throughput rate by 6,000 items per hour.

“The AutoPocket is already being used successfully by customers for fashion items, especially packaged items and soft-shaped items such as clothing. With the solution at Tempe, we are now successfully expanding the AutoPocket's field of application to include shoes, accessories and bags,” explains Andreas Friesen, Senior Project Sales Manager at DFT.
