DFT recognized as a bicycle-friendly company

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce of East Westphalia in Bielefeld (IHK) has awarded DFT the title of ‘excellent bicycle-friendly’ – a recognition that confirms our commitment to sustainable mobility and as an attractive employer in the region.

We actively promote cycling among our employees and offer a wide range of benefits in return:

Covered bicycle parking spaces directly on the company premises provide protection in all weathers.
Repair stations with tools and air pumps are available for minor maintenance work.
Shower and changing facilities offer comfort for all those who come to work in a sporty mood.
Bike leasing via JobRad: employees can lease the bike of their choice at a reasonable price – good for the wallet, health and the environment.

Health promotion at DFT

As an employer, it is a key concern of ours to actively promote the mental health of our employees. That is why we at DFT work together with Instahelp – a platform that offers simple, flexible and anonymous access to professional psychological counseling exactly when it is needed.

The service is not only aimed at people in acute stress situations, but also takes a preventative approach: it also supports those who seek help at an early stage to prevent psychological challenges. It doesn’t matter whether it’s about professional challenges or personal issues such as family, relationships or other areas of life.

We were awarded the Instahelp seal in 2025 for our commitment and a corporate culture in which mental health has a firm place.

Girls’Day at DFT

On Girls’ Day, we regularly show interested girls who we are and what career opportunities we offer! Up to 15 girls regularly have the opportunity to experience an exciting day at DFT.

DFT is actively committed to promoting young talent and is happy about the girls’ interest in intralogistics. The feedback from the participants shows that Girls’ Day was a complete success. We are pleased that we were able to open up a path to technical interest through the open insights and hands-on activities. Perhaps a day like this will enable some of the participants to find their way into our industry in the future.

TeamDFT Events

Team spirit and a good relationship with each other are important aspects of working life for us. To promote and strengthen this, we at DFT and our colleagues regularly organize events. These include regular participation in the Bielefeld Run and Roll Day and the city cycling event, as well as our summer party and the end-of-year celebration.
