How does automatic packaging work with the AutoPocket?

Intelligent sequencing

All orders are automatically placed in the correct order within the AutoPocket system. This ensures that the orders are transferred just-in-time to the packing stations.

Automatic loading for packaging

Single Piece Orders (SPO) are transferred fully automatically to CMC, Packsize or Audion packaging machines - without any manual intervention. Multi Piece Orders (MPO) can also be qualified for automatic packaging after a project-specific check.

SoftDrop drop-off point - smooth transfer to the packaging machine

A special innovation is the SoftDrop target point developed by DFT, which has been specially optimized for handling shoe boxes, delicate items and other fragile products. The SoftDrop target point ensures a gentle and controlled transfer of the goods to the packaging machines. It has been specially modified for the CMC and Packsize machines in order to transfer the items safely into the horizontal infeed of the packaging machines. This minimizes transport damage and maximizes the efficiency of the automated packaging solution.
