Online trading (eCommerce)

DFT supports the small-scale and sometimes high-volume order processing of eCommerce online retail with customized systems. System construction starts after batch-based picking from manual or automated storage units and usually ends with the packaging of individual eCommerce orders in the shipping units. DFT specializes in combining store supply and eCommerce order processing in one integrated system type. Another special feature is the efficient integration of the returns handling, with the option (dynamic buffer) of integrating the returns directly back into the order handling process for new orders.

Special features for eCommerce applications

DFT systems are suitable for eCommerce fulfillment with different products in different industries. Today, DFT is mainly represented in the areas of clothing (hanging and horizontal), fashion accessories, sporting goods, bicycle components, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and electronics.

Dynamic buffer

The dynamic buffer is an optional system component for items that are not assigned to an order. This component is therefore suitable for so-called pre-picks and return items.

Integration GoH

As an option, a DFT system can also process hanging garments in addition to flat goods (piece goods). This is particularly interesting for the clothing industry.

Automatic loading

Pockets can be loaded automatically via a robot arm if required. The articles are transferred to the DFT EcoPocket® or AutoPocket® from KLT containers or via spring base trolleys.

AutoPocket® system type

AutoPocket® is the DFT system type with the automatically opening pocket. The system can be designed with a 3-stage sorter or with the DFT OrderStreaming and PackWalls.
