Leaving school and entering the world of work. Whether commercial or technical, we have the right start for everyone. We'll show you the company, what we do, how we work as a team and give you a good start to your career. In the apprenticeships, you will get to know the practical work in the relevant areas at DFT, but also across departments.

Apprenticeship as an electronics technician for automation technology (m/f/d)

During your 3 1/2 year apprenticeship, you will learn how to install electrical components, set up drive systems and other technical tasks. You will also have the opportunity to accompany our assembly team and get to know one of our construction sites.

Your tasks

  • Practical and wide-ranging apprenticeship in our electrical production and production-related departments
  • Installing electrical components
  • Setting up drive systems
  • Carrying out functional tests
  • Recognizing and eliminating faults and errors

Apprenticeship as an Mechatronics technician (m/f/d)

During your 3 1/2 year apprenticeship, you will learn how to assemble, install and program our mechatronic machines and systems.
You will gain insights into the production of individual components through to the finished overall system and experience the variety of our technical processes.

Your tasks

  • Assembly of components and individual parts into machines and systems
  • Programming and commissioning of systems
  • Manufacturing of individual parts and components
  • Working in different departments such as production and assembly

Apprenticeship as warehouse specialist/warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d)

You support our deliveries from acceptance at the loading ramp to handover to our shipping department. You keep an eye on the condition of all deliveries and check the shipping documents.

You take care of the safe storage of incoming materials, the components that we produce and the necessary materials that are required on our customers’ construction sites. Picking components and individual parts for our production and dispatch.

If you are over 18 years old, we will optionally cover the costs of your forklift driver’s license so that you can use it to transport all items.

  • Handling the goods from receiving to handover to the shipping department
  • Checking deliveries and checking shipping documents

Apprenticeship as Metal technology specialist (m/f/d)

During your 2-year apprenticeship, you will learn the fundamentals of metalworking and manufacture a wide range of components.
You will gain insights into production processes and see how individual parts come together to form large-scale systems.

Apprenticeship as Industrial businessman (m/f/d)

Girls’Day at DFT

On Girls’ Day, we regularly show interested girls who we are and what career opportunities we offer! Up to 15 girls regularly have the opportunity to experience an exciting day at DFT.

DFT is actively committed to promoting young talent and is happy about the girls’ interest in intralogistics. The feedback from the participants shows that Girls’ Day was a complete success. We are pleased that we were able to open up a path to technical interest through the open insights and hands-on activities. Perhaps a day like this will enable some of the participants to find their way into our industry in the future.
