The application transforms complex sortation solutions into a visual experience and provides transparency regarding layout, components, and configuration options early in the project phase.
The new 3D configurator helps partners and system planners quickly translate individual requirements into a tangible system concept. Users can visualize different tray sizes, configuration options, and destination concepts of the horizontal Push Tray Sorter directly within the application. This creates a realistic representation of the sorter at an early stage of the project and provides a solid foundation for further planning.

The horizontal Push Tray Sorter was developed for the gentle and flexible sorting of a wide variety of products and parcels. Three tray sizes, modular track layouts, and a broad range of destination concepts enable adaptation to diverse sorting requirements in e-commerce, fulfillment, parcel, express and courier (CEP), and distribution applications.
The new configurator digitally reflects this flexibility. Users instantly gain a visual understanding of how different Push Tray Sorter configurations are structured and how individual requirements influence the final system concept. This makes it easier to compare alternatives, streamline coordination processes, and make informed decisions based on a clear and transparent planning foundation.
Digital Support for Faster Project Planning
The 3D configurator is part of DFT’s consistent modular product strategy. During the development of the new Push Tray Sorter, the company relies on standardized modules, digital planning tools, and automated engineering processes. Live at Parcel + Post Expo 2026
The new 3D configurator will make its debut at Parcel + Post Expo 2026 in London. Visitors to the DFT booth (E30) at ExCeL London will be able to experience how individual project requirements are transformed into a visual sorter concept, creating the foundation for a fast and transparent quotation process. The final online version of the application for the horizontal Push Tray Sorter is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026, with additional sorter variants planned to follow. DFT will also showcase its broader sorter portfolio for parcel and CEP applications at the exhibition.
