After twelve years of operating the Split Tray Sorter, our customer Celio speaks of a great success. The targets set for the system have been more than achieved. Today, the Split Tray Sorter is used with an average output of 8,000 to 9,000 items per hour. The combination of innovative technology and a strong partnership has led to a significant increase in service levels and an optimization of processes. Celio was not only able to reduce logistics costs, but also create long-term added value for its customers.

The diverse challenges in the post and parcel industry with regard to the size, weight and shape variance of the items to be sorted push conventional flat sorters to their limits. The use of an AutoPocket system significantly expands the range of items that can be sorted. Cylindrical, light and bulky parcels and packages can be safely transported and sorted in the AutoPocket.

At the height of the e-commerce boom, Matalan took a decisive step forward.
