Logistical solutions for hanging goods (GoH)

Hanging garments on hangers is a very special logistical challenge. DFT has been mastering this specialty since 1954 with the aim of mapping the complete process from goods receipt to storage, order picking and goods out. This has resulted in an extensive portfolio of products for warehouse technology in the hanging goods sector, which has been optimized through many projects.

Logistical masterpiece in the flat-packed goods sector

Since the beginning of 2000, DFT has been involved in the efficient logistical handling of flat-folded goods in the fashion industry. From split-tray sorters to pocket sorters, tried and tested solutions have been developed that have been installed in many projects worldwide and are still in operation today. To this day, DFT’s focus is on high-volume throughput and high system reliability. There are just few fashion brands in Europe that have not become DFT customers over the years. New brands from North and South America have been added in recent years and long-standing existing customers from Europe have successfully implemented further projects with DFT.

Decathlon - EcoPocket® fulfillment with high throughput

Rethinking fashion logistics: the EcoPocket for the apparel industry

View of an automated warehouse system with canvas bags hanging from rails, transporting goods. The area is illuminated with red indicator lights, and the metal structure supports the transportation system above a flat open floor.

In the dynamic world of fashion, it is not only the design that counts, but also the speed at which products reach the customer. The EcoPocket from Dürkopp Fördertechnik has been specially developed for the requirements of fashion fulfilment – it combines hanging and flat-packed goods in one system and ensures precise, sequenced delivery to the packing stations. The EcoPocket is indispensable for fashion companies that want to future-proof their logistics.
